  1. Marinate chicken with curd, ginger garlic paste, slited green chilli, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  2. Mix well and keep covered for 30mins to 1hour.
  3. Fry onions till brown. Take out and keep aside. Cool and grind to a smooth paste.
  4. Heat ghee in a pan. Add marinated chicken pieces. Cook on high flame for 5min. Add red chilli powder and tomato puree.
  5. Mix and cook for 2-3mins. Add the fried onion paste.
  6. Mix well and cook for 2mins. Now add cashew and melon seeds paste.
  7. Add nutmeg powder, cardamom powder and garam masala powder. Mix well. Add salt to taste. Finally add coconut milk.
  8. Mix and cook covered for 12-15mins or till chicken cooked properly.
  9. Serve hot with any Indian bread or rice.
